Course Description :
This course is designed to be more advance than the preliminary course of clinical chemistry I. It provides knowledge related to the correlation between the plasma proteins alteration with certain diseases. The clinical significance of non-protein nitrogenous compounds in plasma. Acid base balance and possible compensatory mechanisms, Evaluation of kidney function tests. Clinical enzymology and liver function tests. The significance of tumor and cardiac biological markers. Understanding the changes of analyst in cerebrospinal fluid in correlation with certain disease states.
